WHO IS COLLECTING THE DATA?

Rosa Records, the exclusive record label for Elio Pace.

 

WHAT DATA IS BEING COLLECTED?

For our mailing list, we only ever collect your email address. However, when you buy from our store, we need to collect your full name, and mailing address in order to fulfil your order. Once the order is fulfilled, we store the data for a period of time (see “How long will the data be stored for” below), before we completely delete it from our systems.

WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING THE DATA?

Your email address is collected for email marketing purposes (our Newsletter). When you purchase from our store, we need your full name and address to process and fulfil your order.

 

WILL THE DATA BE SHARED WITH ANY THIRD PARTY

Rosa Records will never share your data with any third-party. It us used exclusively for email communication as outlined, and for store fulfilment. 

 

HOW WILL THE INFORMATION BE USED?

In relation to items you have ordered from our store, we use your data to fulfil your orders. In relation to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you ‘breaking news’ as it occurs, and that we feel may be of interest to you. 

 

HOW LONG WILL THE DATA BE STORED?

We fully delete the information you provided us for your store purchases, once the cooling off period (7 days) plus 30 days has expired. This will include your email addressed used at time of purchase. If you wish to remain on the mailing list, you will need to opt-in via our CONTACT page.

 

For people who consent to our newsletter, we hold your email address until such time that Rosa Records no longer sends email newsletters out to subscribers, or you chose to unsubscribe.

WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE?

You have the following rights in relation to the data we hold on you:

 

  • Right to access: Your right to ask us what information we hold on you, and how it is being used.

 

  • Right to rectification: Your right to rectification inaccurate personal data concerning you.

 

  • Right to erasure (to be forgotten): Your right to ask us to remove data we hold on you from our database.

By consenting to this privacy policy, you are giving us permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes intended, as detailed above. 

 

UNSUBSCRIBE

On each newsletter Rosa Records sends out, there is a link that allows you to immediately unsubscribe. However, you can also email mailings@rosarecords.co.uk and we will remove you from our database within 24 hours. A link to unsubscribe is also available on the CONTACT page. 

 

BUYING FROM OUR STORE

 

 

RIGHT TO CANCEL

 

You have the right to cancel the purchase of a good without having to give a reason at any time within the "cooling off period" of seven working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods. If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have confirmed you are returning the goods. 

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense. 

 

Once you have notified us that you are returning the goods, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.


You will not have any right to return goods if:

  • The supply of goods is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the retailer.

  • The supply of goods are made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned.

  • The supply of audio or video recordings (CD, DVD for example) are unsealed by you.

 

NOTICES

 

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on our CONTACT page. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) 

 

In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.

 

GOVERNING LAW

 

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
