Weekend Wogan, BBC Radio 2
Weekend Wogan was transmitted live to the nation in 2010 from the BBC Radio Theatre in London. The show ran for 34-weeks on Sunday mornings from 11am-1pm. Elio not only performed each week as a featured artist, but also backed an array of stars such as Brian May, Huey Lewis, Albert Lee, Craig David, Alfie Boe, Westlife, Lulu, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Katie Melua, Raul Malo, Katrina Leskanich, Billy Ocean, Mica Paris, Rumer and Paul Carrack to name but a few.
